Well, I have two real Passions in my life, Animals and Music! Having worked in the pet industry for ten years one itch was scratched! It's taken a little longer to realise what a passion performing would turn out to be!
I have been performing for 5 years, first realising I could entertain a crowd at a birthday party! Since then i've dabbled and won a few Karaoke contests and sang at Slough Youth Festival for three years, and was given performed at Slough Borough Firework displays. These experiences had given me more confidence and the repertoire has grown extensively over the years – From Bette Midler to Beyonce! – Wanting to push myself out there a bit more,- decided to go it alone and buy my own PA equipment and entertain audiences for entire evenings in Pubs and Clubs and sing with a 9 piece soul band who have helped bring out my versatility and more powerful voice covering songs by the great Etta James and Janis Joplin. Singing plays a large part in my life and I'm not happy unless I've pulled out all the stops and performed the best I can. I like to try and put a unique emotional take into every song i perform.I'm currently working on several projects and in the future I hope to develop music and keep expanding. I would recommend visiting Jam and open Mic nights to anyone who has an interest in music, as this has proven to open my eyes to the acoustic scene, and different genres of music including jazz and salsa.
Make every thought, word and deed such that the impact gives someone courage and zeal and enthusiasm. Thanks to my friends that have done such.................
